  1. Lauren, thanks SO much - I LOVE this song version!!!
BUT, dang it, I cannot get it to play on Real... I will try to get it going on something else (Windows, perhaps?)...but not sure if it needs to be 'converted' by you to something else, or if I am just goofy... I DID update RealPlayer, tho...

  2. Try VLC player. It plays music too!
Anyway you are welcome! I stumbled upon it when I was uploading music files. I don't know where I saved it on the computer/USBs.

I'm about to start class (at 6pm, Ew).

  3. Hey - I installed VLC, but every time I try to open the file, it automatically rolls to RealPlayer...HELP!!! I'm so crozzled!!!!

  4. oh, PS...hope you class went well...and the 'hubbub' regarding the protests have died down...
VKMfanHuey...still not sure this is the best 'tag'...

  5. That's probably because RealPlayer is your default player. VLC won't automatically become the default player. What you should do is right click on the music file, and choose "Open With" then choose VLC.

The protest stuff died down after they officially decided to hike the prices. A few days after my art professor said to me, "So, Lauren, how does it feel to be more in debt than you already are?" At first I had no idea what he was talking about, so I say, "Huh?" and he replies, "The rate hikes." I could tell he was pretty upset about the price changes, and so I didn't want to interfere with his vibe by informing him that actually I don't have any loans and my financial aid will adjust to the new cost, so I just said, "I'm not terribly concerned."

Can't you just call yourself Huey McMath or something?

    Lauren

  6. ...well, the McMath name is not the one most enamoured by Ginger, so, why not HueyRogers? That doesn't really catch it, either, tho... How about 'JWalkerHueyStarkRavingMadGingerRogersVKMfan'?
I will keep working on the music file...but I honestly don't know where the file IS on my computer...kinda sad, no? if it is not TOO much trouble, could you just e-mail it in an attachment? that would just be superdandyfine!
Well, glad the protest stuff is over...I know that was a distraction for you. Hey, are you going to the UCLA-USC game? I will be rooting for y'all big time...I just do NOT like USC...never have.

  7. I would, once I find the file. This was uploaded, and so far it won't let me re-download it. I'll try some tricks and see if anything works.

Yep! I'm in the process of painting my nails blue, and I will add gold sparkles on the top (pretty tacky, but it must be done).
Yay, thank you! I told SOME[FIORA]ONE that Huey had my back since she wanted to root for USC...

  8. Well, sorry about the Bruins...but glad to hear you 'got the spirit!' -and remember, if it is associated with a football game, ALL FASHION SENSE GOES SQUARELY OUT THE WINDOW!!!

Hey, wonder if Ginger followed UCLA or USC? I remember reading somewhere she enjoyed football games, and went to some - HAD to be one of the two, if in Hollywood, right?
We'll just assume she was a Bruin fan...

PS - thanks for 're-trying' the file...I will be patiently waiting with baited breath...

  9. "and remember, if it is associated with a football game, ALL FASHION SENSE GOES SQUARELY OUT THE WINDOW!!!"
Hey, I looked cute at the game! I wore my blue one-piece with a yellow cardigan!!! (I had tights on and my leather jacket for warmth.) And I brought my sleeping bag meant for sub-zero temperatures that happened to be BLUE on the outside and GOLD on the inside.

  10. I may be showing a lack of pride but

AT LEAST I MADE THE TEAM ON THE SECOND TRY. :)

BTW, where did you find this song?

    ReplyDelete
  11. ok - hope this goes in ok - Thanks, Lauren!

The song is noted as being from the CD 'The Vamps', which would be a pretty good one to own, it would appear! It's just so cool - I can listen to Ginger sing all day... I am going to place a 'jukebox' or whatever on G-ology sooner or later, and hopefully fill it with VKM tunes...
